Individual therapy offers the opportunity to really tune into your inner world - what you’re feeling, thinking, what your body might be experiencing, all the stuff that’s happening below the automatic “I’m good, how are you?” In this space, I can help you navigate stress, anxiety, relationship struggles, perfectionism, grief, life transitions, and so on, with warmth and calmness. Together, we can foster insight and build the tools that help you move through life with more intention, resilience, and self-trust.

Couples therapy supports you and your partner in tending the shared flame between you—whether it feels dim, unsteady, or ready to grow. I help guide partners through communication challenges, patterns that keep you stuck, and moments of disconnection with a compassionate yet direct approach. You'll learn to rebuild connection, deepen intimacy, and create a more intentional, nourishing partnership.
SCHEDULE
As an LMFT, I offer clinical supervision for MFT and LPC candidates in Colorado. My supervision style is open, relational, and rooted in curiosity —helping emerging therapists develop confidence, clarity, and a strong clinical foundation. Whether you're strengthening your therapeutic voice or building competence across systems work, I can provide guidance that nurtures your professional growth and helps you understand what is special about you as a therapist.
Both!
I offer sessions in-person on Tuesdays. Sessions held on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are all virtual.
All sessions for Arizona residents are held virtually.
Individuals I see are often struggling with relationship concerns, grief and loss, recent life transitions, low self-esteem and general mental health struggles, and past trauma.
Couples I see are typically coming in with communication difficulties, feelings of disconnectedness, and troubles with life stress impacting their relationship.
My approach is collaborative, compassion-focused, and direct. I want to understand what is important to you and what you want out of therapy, and will structure my approach around those things. Therapy to me is a marathon and not a sprint – it takes time and trust to create long-lasting change. So, at first we will just be getting to know one another and building a relationship that you feel safe and understood in. Beyond that, I take an integrative approach, blending a few of my favorite modalities, such as parts work, attachment-based work, and some skills-based approaches.
Yes! Well, yes and no. For individual therapy, yes, and I accept United, Aetna, Cigna, and Anthem BCBS plans. Couples therapy is not a covered service through most insurances, so couples therapy sessions are private pay.
The answer to this varies on the person or the relationship, but I've noticed that clients who feel therapy is working are sharing moments where they feel proud of themselves, are more compassionate to themselves, and are engaging more in the things that bring them joy. Couples who find therapy working share that they are more confident in their ability to navigate conflict with one another, are noticing each other’s strengths instead of their shortcomings, and are feeling more grateful for their relationship.
The name Glowing Embers reflects the belief that meaningful growth emerges through genuine interest and wonder, and it's inspired by the wonder I feel when sitting around a campfire. When you watch embers glow and shift around a campfire, you’re seeing both warmth and resilience — something steady and alive beneath the surface. I believe your inner world and your relationship hold that same depth and strength.
This also depends on the person/couple and their needs. Generally, I recommend meeting on a weekly basis at the start. Once you begin to see some traction and are feeling relief around the things you initially came in for, we often drop down in frequency to every other week. Once you’re in the “maintenance phase” of therapy, meaning you have made progress on your goals and are now focused on sustaining that progress, I offer sessions on a monthly or every 6 week basis.
